A White-tailed Tropicbird, a species found elsewhere in the Northeast during Cyclone Irene, was picked up in the vicinity of Colebrook Reservoir in northern Litchfield County. Linda Bowen of Falls Village received the bird into rehab on Saturday (Sept. 10) and has now shipped it to Florida for further concern and rehabilitation. She has quite a story to tell.
