Jasmine Bird Cage - Bird Supplies

My Budgie, Jasmine, screeches loudly when i try to get her out of her cage. Why does she do this?

She's about 8 months, and is a female. Only bird I have and I am new to having birds as pets.

Some birds do not enjoy being handled in a certain manner. Its best to finger train your bird making removal from the cage less stressful for your bird. You can also purchase a "platform ladder" which should be available at your local pet store. The ladder clips to the outside of the opened cage door enabling your bird to exit freely. Once your bird exits the cage of her own free will, you can then encourage your bird onto your finger by placing a finger at the end of the ladder.

With Proposed Law Change, China is Threatening to Legalize Repression

China is in the change of completing a landmark revision of its Criminal Procedure Law. Among the proposed changes are several that will, at least in theory, concert accused criminals the sorts of protections they deserve.

But Beijing’s lawmakers have also proposed a swap to the law that has the potential to send a chill through the Chinese legal and activist communities.

A prospectus of the revised law, posted ( in Chinese ) Tuesday on the website of the Subject People’s Congress, confirms what many rights advocates had some time ago feared: That China plans to legalize the secret and outlawed detentions that have previously been carried out in violation of existing law.

The most notable example of a Chinese citizen who was subjected to such a secret imprisonment is artist Ai Weiwei, who was held for 81 days on second thoughts of “economic crimes,” kept for much of that epoch in a windowless cell on the outskirts of Beijing, without his family being notified of his whereabouts. “There’s no way to even topic it. You’re not protected by anything,” Mr. Ai, wrote of his detention in a recent dissertation for Newsweek. “Why am I here? Your mind is very uncertain of time. You become like mad.”
