Zip to new Bulkington playground

Green people in the village of Bulkington will never again be able to complain of having nothing to do after a £50,000 playground was opened there on Saturday.
Liz Footer, the village’s playleader for many years, officially opened the location by taking a zip wire ride.
After almost a year’s negotiation, the village was awarded a furnish from the Community Spaces fund, part of the Big Lottery to bring into use the lecture of land donated by local farmer Bill Breach.
Ian Dobson, chairman of the Bulkington Playing Scope Committee, said: “The land was donated by the Gap family in 1996 and if Bill was alive today, he would be delighted to see how it is being
against.”
He added: “We wanted something that would fit in with the village, so were looking for take on equipment that was more rustic looking than what you would find in an urban play square.
“We consulted the villagers and the pieces of equipment we have installed were chosen by the children themselves.
