Cat doesn't like his new cat condo?

Well, today, I bought my 3 yr old cat a cat condo, for around 100 $. (It was on sale for Black Friday, it was originally 160 $.) Anyways, I set it in the living room, and he doesn't seem to interested in it.
I can take it back. He's been on it about 2-3 times, but only for checking it out. Can someone help?

someone said it could be that your cat thinks it's furniture so he won't go on it, that makes sense.

all cats like to be up high and like climbing. I'd say, give him time. You got a great deal. Don't return it cuz in the future, your cat will love it SO much! ...What you could do in the meantime to encourage him to go on it, is sprinkle catnip on it, or, get one of those catnip mist sprays and spray it all over it. Also, put some of his favorite toys on it, drag them up and down the tower to encourage him to chase them. Trust me, he'll absolutely love it. Give it at LEAST a week before you even consider taking it back.
