How can I keep the cat from drinking from my fountain?
I recently got a decorative fountain for my room, and I want to keep the cat from drinking the water from it. She always has fresh water in the cat fountain I bought for her, but she just seems to prefer my other fountain. Her fur will clog it, and it can break.. and I really don't want to have to clean it out every day. Is there something inexpensive that I can put in the water that won't harm her, but will keep her from drinking it? Thank you so much!
Try setting out another bowl of water near the fountain. It seems like my cats will drink from anything but their normal water dish. They really like the kitchen sink. We put a bowl of water near the sink and that seemed to help.
Good luck!
