HSRC inviting all to celebrate National Pet Lovers Weekend at Sycamore
The Humane Company of Richmond County is partnering with Sycamore Lodge on Saturday to publicize National Pet Lovers Weekend.
“We got the idea when we heard about Pet Lovers Weekend because we’re a very pet-good-natured resort, and wanted to do something to show our support of our campers and their four-legged friends,” said Vicki Payne, activities steersman at the lodge.
When lodge member Cindy Chambers caught up of the event, she immediately suggested the partnership with HSRC, where she is employed.
“I was so edgy, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to introduce some of the shelter’s pets to a new union of animal lovers,” said Chambers.
Payne said many of the dwelling’s campers are animal lovers, and are looking dispatch to the lodge’s first pet event.
“We have a whole day of activities planned,” said Payne.
