Dunedin is matchless the way in Pinellas County and throughout the state with a one-of-a-kind Artistic Bike Rack dynamism featuring the first municipally funded artistic bike racks.The racks are at the Dunedin Civil Library, 223 Douglas Ave., according to Courtney Crowned head, the city's communications manager.
The two bike racks, created by particular artisan Bill Coleman from the Creative Arts Institute, are designed to caricaturist classic turn-of-the century open books with bicycles being parked within each of the lyrics's pages, King wrote in an email. Coleman was selected through a open Request for Proposal process.
"We are a biking community, and bikes and art occupation well together in Dunedin," King said.
There are several other racks in the city that concealed businesses have installed. Joe Kokolakis, a local developer, was the first to endowment an artistic bike rack in the shape of a fish at his Stirling Commons maturation on Broadway. Other businesses that have installed artistic bike racks cover: Dunedin Animal Medical Center, resembling a dog and cat; Bayshore Word Mobil, a pirate ship; and Walt's Olde Bay Café at the Dunedin Marina, a half-fish.

I was feeling kinda hacked off new year eve. Not one single invite to a year end party, not one. I told myself to hell with it, I would go out and find my own party, go to a bar and just join in with everyone.
It didn't seem good to go out too early so I sat in my room drinking. Kept thinking I'd go out later, later, then I looked at my watch and saw that it was almost midnight already. As it turned midnight the was the sound of a lot of firecrackers outside which made me look at the window. What the? There was a black cat on the ledge starring in at me!
What! Cats do not sit on that ledge. It is not so very high but I never seen a cat there before. What does this mean for me? Some say black cats are good luck, some say bad luck. Why was it there looking at me right at the start of the new year? Does this mean that the new year is going to be good, it needs to be.
Maybe that black cat did not have an invite to a party either. Or more likely the poor cat was a little spooked with all the firecrackers.
Does it mean good luck or bad luck in the coming year?
Well, why not believe that it will mean good luck for you. As Alyssa says many people believe a black cat seeking you out will mean wealth for you in the new year.
May 2010 be a good one for you.
