Whats the best way to train 3 kittens to use the litter box?
I have 3 kittens that are a month old, maybe older. One is a girl and 2 are boys. Today was their second day of eating. I putted a litter box (2 inches low cardboard box with litter) in a corner for them to use. After they ate, I guided them one at a time to the box to show them where it is. How should I train them to go in it as they get older? One kitten constantly meows and I think it has to go. When I put it in the box, it just leaves. Also, whenever I put a kitten in it, they eat the kitty litter. How can I make them stop? Im scared they will get sick and mess up my basement carpet.
SO FAR YOU ARE DOING ALL THE RIGHT THINGS. ALSO TRY TAKING THEIR LITTLE FRONT PAWS AND SHOWING THEM HOW TO SCRATCH IN THE LITTER. THE ONE(S)THAT IS RESISTANT TRY PUTTING THEM IN THERE AFTER ONE OF THE OTHER KITTENS HAVE USED IT SO THEY CAN SMELL THE PEE OR POOP AND REALIZE WHAT THIS STRANGE BOX IS FOR. THEY USUALLY LEARN PRETTY QUICKLY AND SOME DON'T EVEN NEED TO BE SHOWN HOW. IT'S INSTINCTUAL FOR MOST. I AM TRAINING 6 WEEK OLD KITTENS AT THE MOMENT AND STARTED ABOUT THE SAME TIME YOU DID WITH THE LITTER BOX AND THEY DID THE SAME THING, JUMP RIGHT OUT AFTER I PUT THEM IN. WHEN I HEARD THEM MEOW AND LOOK CONFUSED I WOULD RUSH THEM OVER TO THE BOX AND USUALLY THEY GOT THE IDEA. PERSISTENCE IS THE KEY AND YOU SHOULD BE OK. TRY KEEPING THEM TO A CERTAIN AREA IF POSSIBLE UNTIL THEY'VE MASTERED THE LITTER BOX AND REMEMBER DON'T KEEP IT TOO FAR AWAY FROM THEM AS THEY ONLY HAVE LITTLE LEGS.MINE TRIED EATING THE LITTER A COUPLE TIMES TOO AND I WOULD HAVE TO WIPE IT OUT OF THEIR MOUTHS AND OFF THEIR LITTLE NOSES.

Possibly you have to move the cat's
Millions of containers. Now, find the 'grow box.'Ceramics, tobacco, fertilizer, even kitty litter can emit enough diffusion to grab the detectors' attention. NORMs are a bore. Each one must be checked out, sapping energy from the hunt for the real prize: the dirty bomb.
