Connellsville woman wants OK to keep bobcats
-->Karen Osler needs the encouragement of Connellsville Township supervisors to provide a safe lifelong home base to three bobcats.
The state Game Commission requires a the world of letters of approval before she can legally house the bobcats.
If she cannot keep them, Osler said they will be humanely euthanized.
Osler lives with her mama Connie on about half an acre, zoned agricultural.
During a closest meeting on Tuesday, Osler discussed her 15 years savoir faire handling exotic cats at the Wild Animal Orphanage owned by Dr. William Sheperd; the welded 14-by-16-by-12-foot gigantic covered, locked enclosure she built at her Springfield Pike stingingly; and the bobcats themselves.
The enclosure also has an inside section for the cats to baffle the weather and has jumps to entertain them.
"They will also be able to play in the leaves," she said.
Bona fide surrounds the enclosure to prevent digging. Osler will discount a guillotine gate when she enters the enclosure to feed and vary the bobcats' litter boxes.

Your cat will get more nutrition in smaller servings, as well as not need as many costly vet trips.
