Frontline Plus For Cats - Cat Supplies

Can frontline plus for large dogs be used on my cats?

Ebay has sellers selling large dog frontline plus flea control to be used on cats. They provide a small vial to store the frontline in and a syringe to administer the correct amount, 0.5ml for cats. The large dog frontline contains 4ml so you get 8 doses for cats. My question is, does the dog frontline plus contain the same ingredients as cat frontline plus and is it safe for my cats? Thanks!

NO_NO_NO---Something that people do not know is that dog frontline if used on cats WILL KILL THEM!!!--I work as a vet assistant -we have seen a few cases of people who did not bother to ask or accidentally put the wrong one on their cats--they will die if you use it on them!--I am glad that you care enough to ask!

hope this helps!

Last low-cost rabies clinic of year Oct. 8

The experience will run from 1 to 3 p.m. Coweta Animal Hospital performs heartworm testing for $20, and will also double-cross heartworm medicine and Frontline Plus flea prevention for dogs and cats. Pet owners who hankering to purchase heartworm medication must present proof of a 'No' heartworm test.

Rabies shots and microchips are notes-only; other services can be paid for with cash or check.

In conjunction with the rabies clinic, Saintly Shepherd Humane Society will be offering a day of fun and games as a fundraiser to lend a hand cover veterinary expenses for rescued animals.

Kenna Galloway is organizing the fundraiser.

Galloway said plans comprehend a costume contest for kids and pets, face painting, and several other activities.

Galloway said she is looking for volunteers to daily help with the event -- and to be willing to take a few whipped cream "pies" to the pan. She's also looking for volunteer face painters and others who can help out.

Frontline Plus For Cats

Frontline is one of the most recognized and high quality drugs which have been used for quite some time. Frontline Plus for cats is basically made to protect the kittens of the age of 8 weeks, and it is prescribed to be used with care as the skin of the pet can react to the ingredients present in the drug. If there is a reaction or complication, the pet should be taken to the doctor immediately.

Frontline Plus is the kind of drug which is a spot application. The ingredients have the capability to kill eggs and larvae of the fleas within 24 hours of application. It also checks the growth of the fleas and protects the host from any unwanted damage.

Frontline Plus is a quality drug. Usually in cats, the drug is prescribed for the kittens. The ingredients keep the kittens active and responsive towards the drug and permit the drug to react in the quickest time.

Frontline Plus is applied with the help of the applicator. Because the product is flammable, extra precautions should be taken in order to store the drug in a cool and safe place away from heat and combustive material.

Frontline Plus is the drug which is not very expensive, when we compare the results and the comfort it gives to the pet, as there is no substitute to comfort. One should select the drug as the ideal killer, in case of flea and tick attack on the pet. Another glaring advantage, which makes the drug stand out, is that the drug is waterproof. It is therefore ideally suited for pets that can swim, and the usage is generally on a monthly basis for kittens who are 8 weeks of age and older.

The drug is not dangerous, but the on spot application makes it serious for the one who is applying it. The application of the drug should be done with care, and reaction of the pet should be noted. Because in cases when the pet reacts to the drug, it may become necessary to carry the kitten to the doctor without delay.

The feedback which is present in the market is again highly appreciative, and many people are comfortable with the use of Frontline Plus on their pets as the drug is not dangerous. The health of the pet is important, and the recovery rate is fast. Within 24 hours, one can see the changes which are likely to take place. Frontline Plus is widely used, and the drug is recommended for cats and dogs. Fleas can’t even think of attacking the pets, while Frontline Plus is in use. Also, one should spend in the name of the comfort of the pet and buy Frontline Plus as early as possible.
