Where do you find a giant litter box that's affordable?

I have heard that a kitty's litter box should be twice the size of the cat.
One of my cats is a Maine Coon mix, and although we have the biggest box we could find (we live in Kansas, so not much is available), he still misses sometimes, because it is a little small for him.
Where can i find a large kitter box that's affordable? Online shipping is really pricey.
Dollar stores have huge plastic lidded storage bins that make ideal litter boxes.

Sam, the beloved pooch, finds a new home

We no longer have Sam our valid pooch to entertain us. Sam found a new loving home with people that do not have allergies.
I no longer have Sam’s layer left on my hardwood floor. I no longer hear the bells ringing in the midst of the night because of a bat sighting or the need for Sam to go outside. I no longer have that nose nudging me when I am ill making me smile and sense better.
Sam is greatly missed. He brought a richness to our lives and an animation that makes my household seem silent and less full. It was hard to let him go. I still gaze at his pictures that sit on my desk and over of him every day. There was something about Sam that left a lasting impression in my heart.
Recently I have pore over that many shelters are reducing the price of their animals because there are so many animals in desideratum of a new home.
Sam was lucky and we were able to find him a loving home. Many other animals are not so favoured; for whatever reason, their owners were not able to keep them.

Try a different litter. If she’s old and arthritic, the litter you are using may be irritating her feet or her bottom when she tried to go in it. You might want to try something like “yesterday’s news” which is little pellets of old paper, or “swheat step” which is just plain bits of wheat, my cats love it. There is a really expensive one, that very picky cats would love, I think they are called “littler pearls”, my old roommate used to have them for his cat. They are pretty good at controlling odor, but it doesn’t clump and turns kinds pricey. He tried everything with his cat and this was the only one she would use.
Well, first of all, good for you for adopting a cat! Especially, considering her age and health conditions. When you find a poo on the floor, pick it up and place it in the litter box. Lift your cat and place her in the box next to the the poo, and literally take her paw and teach her how to bury her business. Cats LOVE to dig, so once she gets her paws in the soft litter, and is shown what she is suppose to do, she will continue to go in there. The urine may be harder to do, but I think that once she gets the idea, she’ll do both her jobs in the box!
You might try to put her in a kennel that is only big enough for the catbox and a bed for her; usually animals will not soil their beds…she may, however be too old (and blind in one eye doesn’t help) to do any better than the side of the box. If that’s the case, I’d put a plastic liner under it and just get used to cleaning it up as soon as you know she’s gone. There are also covered boxes, which she may or may not use, but if you could get her to go inside, since they are covered, it would all be inside and couldn’t get outside except through the door.
OK here is my outlook. She is 12 years old. She has arthritis. She is blind in one eye. Considering all of these put together, I think that she is afraid to jump into it. I wonder how it would work out if you got a large shallow pan and put litter in that. She will not have to worry about misjudging the distance to jump (because of the one good eye), she will not hurt her joints jumping (because of the arthritis). My personal opinion is, she is afraid of the tall sides. I do not think a covered litter box will help in this instance and I also do not think it will help to put her poop in the litter box. Of course, this is just my opinion.
