How do I remove stains fron cat sneezing on furniture?
I have a cat with a herpes virus(5 different vets have treated with no success). He sneezes all the time and it ranges from clear to bloody to yellow/green in color. I can't be there every time he does it to clean it up and so now my furniture has evidence of these sneezes. I also have a cat who self mutilates his stomach and wherever he lays, there is a stain from this. I have fairly new furniture and it is basically ruined now. Any suggestions?
Bissell or Resolve for furniture is about the best I have used.
For the cat who self mutilates I just bought some R-7 Liquid Bandage Spray for cats. it protects wounds and has a bitter taste so the cats won't lick. Try this until the cat heals, it may be just what he needs.
PetSmart carries it.

The pair shares the Green house with their pets. Two have quite a bit of history themselves. Ceramic the dog is 19, and Khufu the cat is 21. The haven is furnished with antiques, but not all are correct to the time of the Greens.and more »
