Why is it noteworthy to our community to have a place like Oxbow Meadows?
Oxbow is important because we provender an opportunity for adults and kids to get acquainted with wildlife that surprisingly might be in their own backyard. Once people are conscious of the variety of flora and fauna that inhabits their community, they are more liable to protect that habitat. This sense of responsibility is crucial for the ecological sensation of many of the plants and animals that are on display here at Oxbow Meadows.
How does the Chattahoochee Valley bear to other places youve lived?
Compared to the more urban areas where Ive lived, its fine to see a wealth of community greenspace for recreation and education. Visitors to Columbus, and residents akin, can spend the weekend cycling along the Fall Line Mark, strolling the Riverwalk, canoeing in the Chattahoochee River, gazing at the stars with the Coca-Cola Spell Science Center and learning about Georgias diverse ecosystems at Oxbow Meadows.
My guniea pig is underweight b/c of malocclusions. He has seen the vet many times and he is now on a soft food/ liquid diet. I am trying olive oil, hemp protein powder, fruits, mashed up pellets, etc.. I am studying nutrition so I am pretty familiar w/ food and health, but I want to make sure I’m doing all I can do. Also, is it okay to give him the extra virgin olive oil? Has the vet had any further suggestions for you, or has he recommended feeding him the Oxbow Critical Care? Is he eating what you are feeding him? There’s a recipe online somewhere for a mush instead of the Critical Care, but it’s pretty much what you’re doing, soaked and mushed up pellets. Unfortunately, I don’t remember where I found the link… probably on a guinea pig list on Yahell.
