Save the Date to Raise $150000 and Save Homeless Pets in Fort Worth at the ...
FORT Good, TX, Sep 12, 2011 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Want to usurp save the lives of homeless pets? Then join forces with the inaugural PetSmart Charities(R) PetWalk(TM) presented by Purina(R) ProPlan(R), on Saturday, November 19 at Trinity Store in Fort Worth. The goal is to raise $150,000 for neighbourhood pub animal-welfare agencies and PetSmart Charities, the largest funder of attendant animal-welfare efforts in North America.
PetWalk features activities for adults, kids and pets showing, including 5K and one-mile walks, contests, free samples of pet products from vendors, and performances by the Purina Inconceivable Dog Team. The registration fee is $25 through November 1, 2011, and $30 between November 2 and at the time day. Children 17 and younger -- and pets -- are self-governing. Activities begin at 9 a.m.; the walks begin at 10 a.m.
