Don’t feed him Meow Mix, its full of artificial fillers. Feed him an all natural cat food, like Natural Balance or Natural Choice…It’s what I recommend to everyone who comes into the pet store I work at. And I also feed Natural Balance to my kittens. Its full of protein and all the necessary ingredients your cat needs. Canned cat food can be a good break for your cats if they mainly eat dry food, but maybe cut back on it and I would also suggest the Natural Balance or Natural Choice canned food as well. They are both all natural and help maintain the kittie’s weight and improves skin and fur appearance. Let him eat when he wants, he’s still a kitten. I have a continuous feeder for my six month old kittens, don’t cut back on his meals just because you want him to lose extra weight, just don’t feed him bad cat food, feed him healthy food and you will notice a difference- better skin/fur, healthier, better digestion, more energy, etc. I highly recommend these brands.
