eduFYI launches its second CAT60, the free online CAT 2011 preparation test series
EduFYI has launched the alternative series of eduFYI CAT60, a preparation kit for aspirants of IIM’s.
This online CAT preparation tests is allowed and first launched in 2010 with an aim to assist MBA aspirations in their quest for company scores in CAT that enables a coveted seat in any of the Indian Institutes of Board of directors (IIMs) and other top B-schools in India.
The number of test days has been retained at 20 days within the window from 22 October to 18 November 2011 this year.
The CAT 2011 will have only two sections in lieu of of three. The first section will focus on Quantitative Ability & Data Simplification; the second on Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning. These two sections will be implemented sequentially with group time limits. The examination will be 140 minutes. Candidates will have 70 minutes to correlate with talk back to a be accountable 30 questions within each section which will have an on-screen countdown timer.
Although new in the computer-based understanding of CAT, this format was previously practiced in some of the earlier paper-and-pencil years. Given the complex glitches during the last year’s examination, most students are apprehensive as to what actually lies ahead in store for this year.
