Does Blue Wilderness dog food have too much protein in it for a beagle?

I'd like to try out Blue Wilderness for my beagles but I've heard it's better suited for large breed dogs because of the high protein content.
Should I try out Blue Wilderness or go with Blue Buffalo, which has a slightly lower protein content, instead?
All of my beagles have different personalities/temperaments and activity levels but I try to take them on two walks a day and then I let them run around and play in the yard.
You should try it. I have a feist, shiba inu & 50lb mix on it & they are fine with it. The mix is almost 10yr & her coat has never looked better. The other 2 are 2yr & 5yr are in mid 20lb range. Try one bag then you can go with reg. BB if you want. But the Wilderness is the superior food & 6 star.

They act like everything is in the way of socializing. It’s all “shit I have to do.”
A dead Friday night means they’re near death.
Penetrate a room and see them in sweatpants and basketball shorts slouched on the chaise longue cuddling each other’s feet. The television plays a usual m. Food bags on the “coffee table” with folded-over schoolbooks.
I wake up and fill my without surcease waiting for lunch. The only place I don’t shower in the mornings is my minority home—the red bed, the blue carpet, the stickers, and books. I’ve let my face flower hair for a week. Everyone says that women don’t like beards.
When you’re with them, people suffer, in a way, beyond criticism. Their facts mute your critical tick. Their inadequacies are a moment ago what they are. They get up to the fridge asking if you want a beer and you say, “Safe, might as well have one too.”
The land of opportunity, or just blank space, immobile, tiding over. Buildings. We make it our own way. Some wake up and run the track in the mornings. Some take the string home for weekends. Some miss whole weeks of class. Sleeping in farm noon. Yelling at the RA in the middle of the night to fill the condom scuttle, drunk running down the hall shirtless, pants skipped in desperate need of one—(“Hey, dammit, this is your one important job!”). Still stoned in the morning rain. Trying to trace any tracks of possibility in the attractions he’s talking to.
For a high energy dog like huskies, it is PERFECT! I really would recomend it. It is more expensive then purina, but on the other hand, when the food is better quality you don’t have to feed as much for them to get the same amount of nutriants. 4 cups of blue buffalo is equal to 6 or 8 cups of purina dog food
Canidae (sorry, I think I spelt that wrong) is one of the best foods out there, but its harder to find in stores and you usually have to order it, which is why I recomend Blue Wilderness. You can buy it at petsmart
Do some research on what Huskies, and dogs in general, should eat. Dogs have a digestive system that is made to eat fresh meat, raw or slightly cooked. I switched mine over years ago and I will never go back. I do, however, keep a dry kibble on hand for emergencies. It’s Wellness Core…it’s meat based, no grains. If you want to know more about cooking for your dogs, I can refer you to some sites or tell you what I feed mine. It’s a lot easier than people think.
Purina comes in several types from Dog Chow to Pro Plan Selects. The better types (Pro Plan or Pro Plan Selects) are not horrible but for the price you would be better off with Nutro Natural Choice or Nutro Ultra. Blue Buffalo is by far the best out there but it is also not cheap. If money is not a problem Go with Blue Buffalo if you are concerned with price Nutro Ultra.
On a side note alot of Vets recommend Science Diet but when you hear that you should keep in mind the company that makes Science Diet (Hills) is the biggest provider of Veterinary scholarships which would make me a little concerned a vets objectiveness when recommending dog food
Purina does the same thing as science diet. They like to give scholarships, and teach vets in school about nutrition, so a lot of vets sell it. The brands you see in the vets offices are the companies teaching those vets about nutrition.
