Back to school is a test for teen retailers
NEW YORK (AP) — Teens are heading back to form, but it's the retailers catering to them that are getting the first test.
They're hoping their expanded selections of funky tee shirts and hip-hugging jeans will captivate students like Dale Gibson, 15, who struggles to find stylish clothes in their stores. Ditto for Danielle Martinez, 14, who thinks their distribute is dull. Same goes for Rochelle Wilson, 19, who stopped shopping them perfectly.
"All the clothes seem the same," said Wilson, a native of Pembroke Pines, Fla. who prefers shopping at H&M. "There's nothing to skip town people say, 'Oh wow, where did she get that from?'"
The "Big Three" teen merchants Abercrombie & Fitch, Aeropostale and American Eagle once defined the craze for fickle teens. But they lost their mojo by not stocking the jeans and tees that their customers covet. So, teens flocked to chains like H&M and Forever 21 that provision to twenty-somethings with up-to-the minute trendy styles that they can mix and match. Now, as the down terseness batters both teens and their parents, teen clothing chains are having tainted success as they try to lure young people back into their stores by oblation more of the things they love __ boot cut jeans, bleed bottoms and accessories.

Points out, as of late our favorite “rude-girl” has been completely abandoning the clothes altogether. Many of the same fashionistas who once admired Rihanna’s sense of style are left wondering, what happened?
It seems like Riri’s fashion trajectory has peaked, and is now settled into a steady decline. While she has always been a master of “pushing the envelope” with her fashion choices, it seems that the envelope has fallen off the proverbial fashion table and is in danger of being swept up and thrown away altogether.
While we love the brazen attitude and who-cares demeanor, Rihanna, we implore you to take it back to basics; and by basics we mean bothering to put something (anything) on. After all, you can’t be a fashion icon if you don’t even bother to wear clothes.
In “Hard”one of her latest singles to hit airwaves, Rihanna asks, “where the bloggers at?” Well Rihanna, we’re right here, and we are all saying to you in unison, “where the clothing at?”
Seeing her naked is like walking around in a men’s locker room. I’ve seen walls with more curves than her.

Rihanna is sexy as fucc in all her vids (no homo), and if she wants to wear less clothing then let her do that. if y’all wanna complain about this, you should be complaining about every woman who chooses to show a lot of skin or pose for Playboy and such. i used to look down on women who show all their goodies, but for some reason Rihanna looks amazing doing it…perhaps because it goes along with her “i don’t give a fucc” image (because that’s all it is…an image).
