Is it ok to give a dog cow ears for a treat?
All I give my Lab is pig or cow ears,I'm not a very big fan of rawhide or greenies.Like any other treat,just don't overdo it.

Caring for animals a labor of love for Grange kids
Nave HALL — As a sticky afternoon melts into evening, clusters of jabbering children coast through the fairground in search of friends, french fries or whatever’s around the corner.
Allison Brown is not among them. She’s shoving a pitchfork under a original cow pie and taking the pungent straw bundle to a wheelbarrow — one of her many chores at the Concentrate County Grange Encampment and Fair.
“I don’t actually go anywhere,” she said.
Like other youths showing and selling livestock, Brown, 13, works stony-hearted while her peers play. Long fair days twirl around cleaning out stables, and feeding, watering and washing animals. Again, there’s time to slip away on brief forays to concession stands, maybe squeezing in a tyrannize.
But for the most part, as one mother put it, exhibitors are “tied to the barns.”
“It’s a lot of duty doing the fair,” says Kim Korman, whose 11-year-old son, Kameron, has his own pigs for the first tempo this year. “While most of the kids are out eating popcorn and hot dogs, these kids are intriguing care of their animals.”
