Any suggestions on how to get my dog "unscared" of everything?

We adopted a 2 yr old coonhound last week. She was doing real well adjusting, but then while playing, she knocked over an end table in the living room and immediatly went up to her crate. I did not say a word to her, but since then, we have to pull her out of her crate, she wont eat, and we have to walk her 45 minutes and even then she wont pee. ANY ADVISE?!! We have been nothing but loving and comforting.
slowly now try and introduce her slowly with food and slower interaction with other humans and dogs etc try a 5 min walk and gradually increase it eg 5min 15min 30 min 45min but keep praising her even if she didnt walk encouragement and love is the key...

[ the cardinal indoors ]
Since its inception as an online column, The Great Indoors has essentially featured richer designers, shops, tastes and tours — more so out of prurient awe than blind support. But as the school year beckons and many renters are on the move, well-known purse strings are getting tighter. So we thought it was about while to look at how Philly design functions outside of a expert's dreamscape.
That's where Ashley Hannan comes in. The Connecticut/New York move is all about creating and finding rather than buying. Her design blog, Fit Me in Philadelphia, takes readers through a series of DIYs she's either spotted around burgh or done herself. Hannan has a penchant for adopting high-end looks for less with fair-minded a few craft supplies and a little ingenuity. She sews, difference feast-paints and even papier-mâchés — anything to bide away from designer price tags.
But more than the accrued cash savings, Hannan's motivated by the feeling of accomplishment that comes from creating a in the groove, one-of-a-kind product. "The reaction — the 'wow, where'd you get that?' — is what I aspire to," she says. "A rug or scrap of art that is uniquely mine, [something] I pulled out of a dark, dusty corner of a parsimony store, [will] inevitably generate conversation from anyone who visits our apartment."
Being a pet owner, you know what it’s like to have to carry around a cumbersome plastic crate when you need to keep your pet apart from the rest of the home or other area.
Are you looking for a place to keep your animal when you’re away from home or you need to transport the animal? Treat your animal the right way and don’t stick them in a plastic crate, use a wood dog crate and you’ll be helping out the environment as well as your beloved pet.
Plastic crates are used widely but no one really thinks about the consequences. Plastic is a man made material that does not break down easily. If you purchase a wood crate, you’ll be helping keep our planet safe and reducing your carbon footprint.
Not only are plastic crates difficult to maneuver, they make it incredibly difficult for you to have them out in the public eye at your home. They don’t match your decor and they are just really less than flattering.
A Wood Dog Crate Is Much More Attractive Than Plastic
If you’ve got a wood dog crate, you can literally put it in any room in your home and use it as a piece of furniture. They are guaranteed to look great and practically disguise themselves when not in use. Wood crates are rectangular and have a table top on them. You can use these crates as end tables or sofa tables in addition to a plethora of other uses. They are sturdy and long lasting and give your animal a safe and cozy place to relax.
When you’re not home, it’s important to make sure that your animal is safe and that your furniture is, too. Buy a beautiful wooden dog crate with a stunning cherry finish and you’re adding to your home. They are easy to assemble and you can use them in any setting. The convenient sturdy top is an excellent place for you to place lamps, books, electronics or even a vase of flowers.
You’ll be amazed by how much they add to the look and feel of a room. A wood dog crate is easy to clean, too. The sides are constructed of a metal frame that keeps your dog or other pet in while you’re able to see that they’re doing well and they are free to see out, all day long. With a slide out tray, keeping them clean is a snap.
Judging continues until 5 pm The prep scope, at the north end of the Convention Center, is a warren of dogcrates, most draped with gloomy sheets or bath towels to keep the animals calm. Many are empty, however: The dogs are on prep tables, undergoing all and more »
Last April, I found myself at a seminar not as press, or as a fan, but as a vendor, proudly standing behind the table at the very first Shock Begetter in London, Ontario, Canada. Now that I've seen how that half lives, I can properly say that
