Pictured above is one of Sampietro's newspaper dispensers-turned-aquarium. This break down of art is particularly tricky to construct, according to the artist. If something goes false, you could wind up with the Hudson River in your apartment. Luckily, Carlos has made a few of these and experienced how to construct the aquarium so that if there is a leak, it will leak into the bottom area and not onto your deck (smarty pants!). We were using it as Chiqi's main food dish so the big dogs wouldn't eat her food when they came in the house. We soon realized Chiqi was gaining too much! We had to put the dispenser away for a few months. A few days ago, we got the dispenser out again, and she had no problem remembering how to use it! It is so fun to watch her.. and her left paw
Chiqi--that thing is the bomb! You are so good at using it, too! Now I feel silly for not knowing if I am right or left-pawed... Thank you for the kibble recommendation. Our closest store is about 25 min. away and we'll be going to that town in Jan. In the meantime, I see that it's organic, so my mom bought me Newman's Own organic and guess what? I love it!
