Dog Waste Management - Dog Supplies

Pet Waste Removal Columbus Ohio?

Has anyone ever used this service before? I keep hearing about this service POOPER TROOPERS pet waste management. http://www.pooptroop.net I guess they pickup your dog waste and take it away every week. I was wondering if anyone has used this pooper scooper before? From what I gather on angie's list they have an A rating. All feedback is appreciated.

I haven't really heard anything bad about them. My aunt has used them on several occasions and no problems. I would not recommend Pet Butler though. We used them when we had our St Bernard and they only showed up twice! LOL - it is funny though, my mom heard the guy outside saying we didn't have a dog, we must have a horse lol. Maybe that's why they didn't come back.

Dana Point Headlands dog access delineated | dogs, strand, city ...

DANA POINT The City Council on Monday night took the first step towards amending the municipal code by allowing dogs on two new city trails, an alternative for dog owners who must keep dogs off three nature trails in the Headlands Preserve, home to federally threatened and endangered species. (Click here to see the map of the park and trails.)

"Our biggest concern is dogs on the trail," CNLM Preserve manager Lee Ann Carranza said in an e-mail. "It is not just a dog waste issue, but that they are seen as predators to birds and even if the dog stays on the trail and the bird's nest is 15 feet away, the bird can get off the nest due to the threat and the eggs can fail (same can happen to chicks)."

An ordinance that got initial approval from the council Monday would modify the code to allow dogs on the South Strand Switchback Trail and the concrete revetment along Strand Beach Park. Dogs already were allowed on the county-owned north beach-access trail to Strand Beach, but not on the beach itself.

"By allowing dog use on the two new city trails, dog walkers will be able to complete the other half of what will be a loop around the Headlands Strand Development," according to a staff report.
