A Bayonne citizen is looking for a new home for a neglected cat she found abandoned in front of a doggy daycare located next door.
Cynthia Uzzolino, 34, took her dog for a lead at midnight Sunday and noticed a rusty cage with the cat case the door of Dogtopia at Avenue E near East 19th Thoroughfare.
“I was shocked to see a metal kennel outside the door and there was a in fact beautiful orange tabby really pretty dishonest on the metal bed in the cage,” Uzzolino said. “I felt so bad for her. I couldn’t liberty her. It was really cold.”
The doggy daycare has surveillance video showing a man wearing a hood and mystical glasses walk up to the storefront door at 10:45 p.m. Sunday and put down a shut up on the sidewalk before walking away.
Uzzolino, who already has three rescued cats, said she fed the yearning cat, and also bathed the neglected cat, which she said was “very, very scared,” and cut away some fur on its behind that was matted with feces. Uzzolino, who is not dependable yet of the animal’s sex, refers to it as “she” and has named it “Sunshine” because it is so “superb.”
