What is the best indoor potty for dogs?
I have an 8 lb. dog and want her to eliminate indoors with the least possible mess, clean-up and expense. I'm using pee pads on a tray in the shower, but her hairy little feet get wet from urine and track it on my hardwood floor. Please be specific in the name of your suggested product or explanation of method and/or products.
Dogs are meant to use the bathroom outside not inside. All a pee pad does is teach your dog it is okay to eliminate in your home. If you live in a high apartment building or something of the like I would understand more. The AKC has a product out that is fake grass the dog uses. It soaks the urine up immediately and all you have to do is empty the tray every night. Here is the link

Make sure that you still take your dog outside several times a day a dog needs to be outside and needs to walk.
