Is it humane to put dog jackets on large dogs?
My large dog seems freezing during winter as shes short haired,
shop Lady's tell me to put a dog jacket on her but shes so big and im against animal accessorising as it hurts them sometimes
but do you think shell be okay in winter because it raining heaps and its icy cold
also what do you think about animal accessorizing

Dog 'Coats/jackets/rugs' are not fashion accessories like shirts, dresses, shoes etc that are made for the owners enjoyment. Dog coats are made purely for the benefit of keeping the dog warm/dry. I put a coat on my border collie when we go walking in the rain and at night time in winter when its freezing outside. He likes his coat, has never tried to pull it off or anything.
