What should I name my dog?
He's a basset hound.Tri-colored.He sleeps a lot,he's really playful though.I don't want a boring name, nothing Southern..nothing "houndish" when I think of my dog..I imagine him lying in front of my fire-place..in front of books,on his little plaid bed.I want a name that sounds classy..that would make people think that my dog is intelligent. He listens to Mozart, lol.
I know i'm weird..I was thinking Cooper..until I found out that meant Barrel-Maker.Help?!
I'm really OCD about meanings,it's odd.
I've come up with-
Killian-little warrior
Nigel-champion
ORRRR Cooper.
Ha.
I think Rudy's a good one. I really like Cooper, I'd ignore the meaning-if the name sounds good, use it! Not many people (if any) are going to think "oh, barrel maker!" when they hear your dog's name anyway. (My dog's name is Brogan-I can't find a 'set' meaning of the name, but i have found 'strong and sturdy' or 'shoe'! brog in irish gaeilge means shoe, but shoes are meant to be strong and sturdy to protect your feet. it could go either way. regardless, i like the way it sounds).
