Just wanted to let all you pet lovers know that I recently purchased on of the above. It is a disc that you put in the microwave and it stays hot/warm for 12 hours. You put it under your pets bedding and it keeps them warm.
I don't like leaving my Yorkies with jackets or jumpers on as I am afraid they would get caught in something when we are out at work all day. Last winter we had the heating on constantly cause they really feel the cold but this product has completely changed all that. They now snuggle into their beds with sigh's of contentment and I no longer feel guilty that they are shivering in their beds at night.
Just thought I'd share.

with regards to chewing my two can't even chew toys for small dogs cause they are too tiny.
The product does say chew proof though.

I went on a escort the other day. Hold on... it’s not that surprising! I’m handsome -- unprejudiced ask my mom. Anyway, I went on this date and it was pretty good, but like most one-on-one common interactions, there’s always a weird lull when one person gets an email from their boss, or a call from someone they have to take. This pulls them away from the dialogue and the other person just has to sit there like a goon twiddling their thumbs.

And these pauses are ever so short. Certainly not long enough to start your own call, and not really long enough even to run through Echofon and substantiation out the last few hours of tweets you missed. While you could sit there patiently waiting, I have no patch for that. I’m a man of action. So I whip out my iPhone and head to a go-to folder of apps that I distinguish I can jump into for a minute if need be. Anything to pretend I’m as important as someone whose boss is on their took place after hours.

They work pretty well…i used one for my elderly dog. it’s pretty warm right at the beginning, so you may want to wrap it in a thin towel first, and it stayed warm for several hours. make sure part of his cage floor is left unexposed to this so he can move to a cooler area if he gets too warm. (and be careful not to leave it in the microwave too long…the glue holding mine together melted when i accidentally left it in there for about 20 mins…lol, oops…)

anything electric may have wires that a rat might want to chew…even if they’re not exposed, a rat could still hurt themselves gnawing at it. unless he’s really ill where you need a more continuous temp control like you get with an electric pad, he’d probably be better without it.
