What fish could live in a 10 gallon aquarium?
Sorry to ask about the last question but i was thinking of buying a ten gallon aquarium. Anyways it might not be a ten gallon but around 10-15 gallons. What type of freshwater fish am i able to put in a ten to fifteen tank? are they schooling, should be left alone, or should be kept in pairs? so any freshwater fish, please. im not sure about a heater or filter but could ya put a pic, please and thanks.
There are plenty of fish you could put in a ten gallon tank. Here are a few:
1. 8 Male guppies (if you get females you'll have to raise the dozens of babies born every month). Guppies like to be kept in pairs.
2. One goldfish. ONLY one because they are very dirty and can grow up to 3 ft. long (even the comets can).
3. Neon tetras. They're schooling fish and like to be kept in groups of 6 or more.
4. Mollies
5. Platys
6. 5 african dwarf frogs
7. a betta (they can be kept in a group with fish other than bettas)
