72 Aquarium Light - Fish Supplies

I need a 72" light for my aquarium?

I've been through 4 of these 4x96 watt compact flourescent jobs in about 9 months. I think I've had Jebo and odyssea and neither of them have lasted worth a dang. We have a fan in the canopy and coralife timer running the lights. Can someone with some aquarium experience please tell me what brand to buy?

I'm curious as to what problem you're having - are the lamps burning out too fast? What kind of photoperiod are you using?

I don't have any personal experience with the systems you mention, but I've used Coralife CF systems on my saltwater/reef tanks and have been happy with the results. I have a few older models with just the twin tubes, and some new ones with the lunar light feature. Both types have internal fans to cool the lights, ballast, etc. I checked in an online catalog and see they make a 72" model: http://www.thatpetplace.com/pet/group/10 940/product.web You can also go back through the home page and see others models available. Although I've never used one myself, Orbit models also seem to be liked by the people who have them.

If you're looking for a reef tank, depending on the needs of your inverts and depth of your tank, both manufacturers make models that combine CF and MH as well.

Rather than buying online, I'd suggest finding a model you like and special-ordering one through a local store so you don't have to pay the shipping fee.

‘To Silence a Mockingbird’ to show at Eagle Theatre

HAMMONTON – The Double and Vine Players will perform the well-known drama “To Cause the death of a Mockingbird” 8 p.m. on Sept. 9, 10, 16 and 17, and 2 p.m. Sept. 11 and 18 at the Eagle Dramatic, located at 208 Vine St. in Downtown Hammonton.

A principal of American literature, Harper Lee’s “To Kill a Mockingbird” was published in 1960. The prize-winning film followed two years later to widespread deprecative acclaim, and has since been recognized as a one of the greatest films of the 20th century.

This staged adjusting captures the same sense of struggle and strength under fire that viewers will recant from both the novel and the original film. The performance will star adroit actors and actresses from around the region, including Dan Hickey as Atticus Finch and Gabriella Pergeorelis as the tomboyish Scout.

Total Price Estimate

If you buy everything new, I would ask for a combo and get the tank kit, including filter, heater hood and lights, this will probably run you around $200 canadian at wallmart for a 25gal, more exspensive through a pet store or fish store, honestly I would start searching craigslist and classifieds in your area, you can get a really nice tank with everything included for a way cheaper price...best of luck..
