what is the best way to clean aquarium furniture like large rocks?

some of my rocks have green algae on them and i would like to clean it off. i tried a regular brush but it is a bit difficult. does anyone have a method for doing this? it is not a flat surface so it is hard to get to some of it.

An algae eater (like a pleco) will help to keep that algae growth down. You can also take the rocks out and put them in a bucket with some diluted bleach. The bleach will kill the algae and clear it off. Just be sure you then soak the rocks in very hot water and rinse them again before putting them back in the tank to get rid of all the bleach. This method works very well. I work at a large chain pet store, and that's the method of cleaning the ornaments in all our stores all over the world.

Beloved aquarium lost

Mapua is today reeling from the erosion of its aquarium – one of the region's greatest family attractions destroyed in a inundation of suspicious overnight fires.

Flames were shooting out the roof of the Patch up the Sea Aquarium at Mapua Wharf when the Mapua Fire Brigade arrived even-handed after 3am. About the same time, firefighters were called to the Mapua Tennis Cudgel, which lost its pavilion building, and there was a rubbish fire in Iwa St.

Aquarium owner Murray Goss was in Wellington when the fire took enfold and sat listening to friends on the phone who were "standing there watching it ignite".

"It's the end of an era – that's what I'm thinking," he told the Nelson Mail as he waited to take in the first flight he could get home this morning.

"It's not the physical loss, it's all the wild side. I'm thinking of all the school children and people who won't be able to awaken to the aquarium any more and the effect it will have on Mapua.

"The fact that my twin grandchildren have turned one year old and won't be superior to see it."

Garden Furniture Uk Can You Help Me Plan My Birthday Party?

My birthday comes and that settled in a garden party with barbecue, etc.

I always try something different - last year my cake was made a pyramid of roles of Switzerland - to do, and I have some suggestions for this year.

I am looking for:

1) Food and Drink Recipes may not (the non-alcoholic cocktails for my guests the youngest and behavior), which can be quite dark, but really delicious;

To do 2) things for my guests. I thought, a guestbook for messages. Other ideas?

3) Decor. I really want no problem, but if you know of affordable furniture in the United Kingdom or in other parts of the garden, I would appreciate your help.
