For many kids, Christmas is a the single most exciting day of the year. With Santa bringing gifts to boys and girls throughout the metro, KCTV5 decided to ask Kansas City metro second graders a simple question: "If you could give Santa a gift, what would you give him and why?"
The answers range the spectrum, with many concerned about the condition of Santa's sleigh after years of work, new technology to help Santa get around, keeping him stocked with plenty of treats and keeping the jolly guy warm. There are also plenty of unique answers in the bunch. As a reminder, the responses are written exactly as the students wrote them at the budding stage in their education.
