Can i put 1 leopard gecko in an exo-terra 12x12x12 terrarium?

It's a bit on the small side for a leopard gecko. An adult leo usually needs something like a 20 gallon long...10 gallon minimum. The problem with square tanks is it's hard to create a heat gradient, and reptiles need a warmer and cooler area to regulate their body temperature. You might be able to accomplish that using a flexible heat rope--big apple herp supply carries them. It should be thermostat-controlled. But it's still a bit too small for a leopard gecko.
However, that tank looks better suited for very small frogs or fire-bellied toads, a green anole, house gecko, or other small arboreal lizard.
