* Emmanuel Baptist Church , 408 E 24th St. Bryan, will emcee speaker Dr. Jobe Martin at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Martin will be speaking on mark for creationism. He started his career as a dentist, believing the Darwinian panorama of the origins of life. His beliefs were challenged by some of his students and he began an in-chasm study of the subject. He became convinced that there is too much evidence to the contrary to display support to the evolutionary theory.
* St. Luke's United Methodist Church , 2700 W. Villa Maria Method in Bryan, will hold worship service at 10 a.m. The Rev. Jeff Dungan will harangue a sermon titled "It's Time" (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8; John 15:1-2, 4-5, 16; Matthew 13:3-9), as part in the reprimand series "Tending The Garden." An adult study, "The Fruit of the Passions," will be held at 9 a.m. Nursery care, through age 4, is provided from 8:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Sunday Mould for children and youth along with a parents group is available at 9 am. Children of all ages are meet in worship and a sermon activity time is available at the 10 a.m. bow down before service throughout the year for children who wish to participate.
