I have 2 male 10mth old guinea pigs. I think they are hormonal because of the 2 female guinea's. I do not want to breed them and they are kept seperated but i've been bitten by one of them 3 times and also the males which we have bought and have been together have started fighting. Can they be castrated. I feel sorry for them!
Guinea pig nuts really aren't worth getting the wok out for.
I would suggest you put the whole thing in a casserole, and cook it slowly in the oven.
(OK! I am just kidding)
And yes, they can be castrated. (although it's kinder to take them to the vet to have it done) ;-)

But Roberto Abadie, prime mover of “The Professional Guinea Pig,” cautions there could be untold side effects and painkiller interactions on repeat paid volunteers — signally if they are not fully forthcoming to researchers in their eagerness to land gigs.
“The industriousness couldn’t function with people doing reasonable one trial and quitting. That’s why they rely — and help — professionalization,” said Abadie, a visiting bookworm with the Health Sciences Doctoral Programs at the Graduate Center, Burgh University of New York. “Volunteers lie to get into the trials. They lie about not waiting the 30-day cleanse-in period between trials. And more importantly, being enrolled in another trial at the same in days of yore.”

Their team sponsorship started last Summer just after the Tour de France, where they were second overall with riders Bradley Wiggins and Christian Vande Velde finishing in the top ten, and at the start of the Vuelta, its third Grand Tour of the season. At the time their press release said:
