HarborWalk thieves steal equipment, human hamster ball
DESTIN— A summer-hunger string of burglaries at HarborWalk Marina has boat captains and marina employees frustrated and on the guard for anyone suspicious — as well as thousands of dollars of equipment, a unanimated snapper and some human hamster balls.
“Every winter there are booming to be boats that are broken into,” Capt. David Nettles of the Breach Ranger told The Log. “But this is new; we have never seen this before.”
While the privilege boat’s valuables have been the most common targets in the heretofore, the latest group of thieves has snagged everything from fishing paraphernalia and rods and reels to TVs, loading dollies, fish feeding boxes and fire extinguishers along the docks.
Although the thefts have everyone at the docks stumped, Nettles said the cracksman or thieves are more than likely familiar with HarborWalk and the boats that land there.
“It’s got to be someone who knows the schedule, knows our boats and where we keep our keys,” Nettles said. “Because the boats are not being obedient into, they are using the keys to get in.”

The primary thing keeping me sane is that I actually have an idea for what I'm going to write and it is a plot bunny that I ADORE. I considered asking someone else to write the idea, but I was also having trouble letting go of the idea myself--which in vidding-land is usually when I decide to make the vid myself rather than foist the bunny off on someone else.
