Large Hamster Cage - Small Pet Supplies


Does any one know where i can get a large hamster cage from?

Im looking for a large hamster cage for reasonable money, nothing over the top. Ive been looking at the Rotastak cages, but ive noticed they are mainly made out of plastic and not cage bars. My hamster loves climbing the bars so i think a Rotastak one is not really sutible. Does any one know a good site for hamster cages?

Please no american sites.

The hamster cages are the top ones, just scroll down and look.

You could also go to the pet shop and see if they have any gerbilariums, they are big tanks with tank toppers made for gerbils, so you can fill the bottom tank with litter (not TOO full!) and then they will be able to climb the bars at the top.

For those of you unfamiliar with the story, David Sumner (an leftover Dustin Hoffman) is an American mathematician who  moves to the English countryside with his woman Amy (Susan George). She grew up there and has something of a past with some of the local ruffians who proceed to terrify the young couple. David is bookish and oozes the manner of weakness that always attracts bullies while the immature Amy, who’s plainly disappointed by her husband’s lack of machismo, uses a tons of childish methods to get his attention and punish him — including flirting with the ruffians who David stupidly hired to fix the roof of his garage.

You can house them together, but make sure they have enough room. The more in the cage the larger it has to be. Dwarf hamster are fairly small, a 20 gal tank would suffice.

With any pet in a confined cage, bullying can be a problem. With multiple hamster together I would provide at least 2 food dishes/water bottles per cage(opposite ends). This way if there is a bully it cannot prevent another hamster from eating a and drinking(cannot gaurd two dishes). I have found this helpful in my cases, to manage/prevent bullies.
