Rat Small Toys Ball - Small Pet Supplies

A Rat Toy Treat Idea...Please read!?

I have 4 new rats and it looks like they are really happy in there new home. I have lot's of toys, climbing opportunities and so on for them but there was one toy they didn't play with so I have taken it out and decided to Make a toy. My idea was that I put a treat in a small ball that's edible so they can gnaw their way into the treat.(this will also keep there teeth healthy) But I don't know what to make the ball out of. Any Ideas would be great !!!

I have a toy just like this for my rats that I purchased at a pet store. It is a bunch of short wooden dowels crossed over each other to create a ball with enough space in the center for a nut. The rats can see and smell the nut but they can't quite get at it so they like to gnaw at the wood. I'm guessing that you could make something like it with Popsicle sticks, or purchase some wooden dowels at a craft or hardware store.

You could also make one out of willow branches. Take some fresh willow branches while they are still flexible and weave them around some treats to create a ball. Wait for the branches to dry and give it to the rats.

I've added some links below of a few commercial toys that you could probably make yourself. The first link is the toy that I mentioned which I own.

My story, part two

If you missed the first part of My Edda, it can be found at http://www.phillyburbs.com/blogs/veteran_voices/my-narrative/article_1911459e-bdc0-11e0-b94c-0019bb30f31a.html

It was my target to make this a two part series, but the writer in me found so much to say that it will most likely be at least three parts with the next piece appearing in a few weeks.

I arrived at my duty station in Vietnam on November 2nd, 1969 - After a horrific excursion on a C-130 aircraft - I was in the air 20 minutes before I knew it because the uninterrupted shook so much, I still thought we were on the runway taxiing for takeoff -- and after a deuce and a half business ride from the Phu Bai Airbase, I arrived at Camp Eagle Headquarters Assemblage of the 501st Signal Company, 101st Airborne Line. As I got out of the truck with my belongings, I was greeted by a familiar face - Mike Checchia, who attended training with me at Fort Monmouth. It was a most welcomed peep.

It was a little cooler up north in the highlands, but it was still hot. Since HQ was newly formed there was not enough lapse for all the newcomers so I had to be squeezed into an 8 man hooch which now held 10. Luckily, it was Sunday and at the In Hall that meant steak. We headed up the hill to the muss up b ruin for my first real dinner with my new company. The 501st consisted of HQ and "A" Assembly. .

Bender Ball Mini Ab Ball | Trends And Travel Info

I havent used it a lot yet and I am pretty out of shape, but my main issue with ab work is the fact that sit ups or any kind of ab thing kills my lower back,i’m only 22 with no other back problems and I thought the bender ball would be my solution however I still have the same issue with it. The videos are short enough where if you are dedicated you can easily fit them in every day. The ball is nothing special, i’m sure you could find a similar one at the toy store for way cheaper. Its not an easy solution to flat abs, it a lot tougher than it looks. My body was shaking when I was trying to do some of the moves! but like I said, I’m no gym rat. The instructor is easy to follow and tolerable unlike a lot of these videos..overall I don’t think its anything amazing.

I ordered this online from the benderball website and like many other people wasn’t aware of the small print that you are signing up for a monthly subscription of dvd’s that are overpriced. My credit card was charged without me knowing. I called to stop them and then the next month was charged again 19.99. The said this was the rest of the previous months charge. I checked with the better business bureau and there are numerous complaints. I called them back and told them i was going put in an additional complaint and said I can keep the dvd’s and they are refunding my money. I will see if they actually give me a refund. I think you are better off going to target and purchasing it there or get one of target’s excersise balls.
