how do you use Super Pet Critter Shampoos and Sprays?
How do you use them and do they work?
I use Super Pet's "squeaky clean" shampoo for small animals on my rabbit and my guinea pig. In my opinion, it is a really good shampoo because it smells nice (baby powder) and gets my rabbit's fur really soft and clean. As to your question about how to use it, it depends on the species of animal you're using it on. For my rabbit, she's not as much a problem as with other rabbits because she's much calmer and I can bather her by myself.
First, I put an old towel on the bottom of my bathtub and I wet it with warm water. I also have a bucket of WARM water nearby. I put her on the towel and gently holding her down by putting one hand over her neck, I pour the water over her (avoid the ears, eyes and nose!). Then proceed to shampoo like you would a dog. rinse completely, then towel dry. I like to blow dry her afterwards. The place in a warm and quiet environment and she'll spend half an hour licking herself.
For smaller critters like a guinea pig or hamster, you will need to hold them firmly in one hand as you wash them. And they don't tolerate the blowdryer as much.
